NWR: Am I nuts!

We bought a house this weekend and out closing date is December 26th. So ontop on the wedding and Xmas, now i get to do that too.. I must be crazy

Can you push your closing date up or back a week? That seems like it will be a lot of stress to undertake in one week.
Also, what happens if something goes wrong and they need to delay the closing? That is pushing things really tight.

ets: your closing date will probably be pushed off...it's never when they say, so hopefully it'll happen when you get back from the hm your lawyer can delay it as much as you need

We are buying from family so hopefully it will not get pushed back, but up instead.... We are buying in N massapequa... It should be fun...
