i think youre going a tad overboard, yes stress the fact that he should have told you before hand, but the reality is that yes yours will be his and his yours but by your reaction i would say to talk to him about this whole situation more
lol i cant believe you called hima thief lmaooo
LOL. I was so mad at the time and he was acting like it wasnt a big deal. This isnt our first fight about money. he 'borrows' often and I never get it back. He makes just as much -- if not more than me-- so he shouldnt need to take my money ; ) I know, calling him a thief was a bit much, but at the time I thought he deserved it! LOL
lollllll......i agree with you in that as you help him he should also help you as well, so yes he should give you the money if he said he's going to and especially if you rely on it to pay your bills, i would def let him know that as much as you haveno problem helping him if it means you get stuck in your own financial rut because he hasnt given it back to you in time then in the end its the same thing, either way one of you will be stuck with your bills ya know

It happens, people over-react, but like the previous posters said, this needs to be addressed on both sides. Arguements over money are often a cause for divorce/separation. I'm not saying you two are headed that way, but I'd clear it up ASAP. And I'm sorry- I didn't mean to sound rude before, I was typing a quick response before switching floors. Finances work differently for each couple. What mine is yours is what works for FH and I, it may not work for you. Just talk it out with him.

No offense taken. I would love to operate that way, but I'd be broke if I did. LOL. The finance situation is the biggest thing we fight over. I am on top of it all...and he spends like there is no tomorrow. It is something we need to discuss definitely.

OK good, after re-reading it I thought it sounded kinda b*tchy! LOL! And don't worry- money is the biggest thing that everyone fights over. It's so sad but true!

Name calling unfortunately does happen at times.
Here is the solution to this particular problem though...take his name off the account
You only needed it to get the actual paper, not to keep the paper

fh and i havve a joint account for bills and wedding stuff. Then we have separate accounts I don't have acces to his and he doesn't have access to mine if we need to borrow money we ask and the other gets it out of the account we don't access the accounts if its not urs. If you don't want him in that account change your pin

I'm so with you on this one b/c my FH is irresponsible with money as well. So i would've been pissed too if he spent that much money without telling me and not paying me back. However I would've left out the thief and i hate you lol, but you were upset and when we are upset we say things we don't mean at the moment. I hope you guys can sit and work this out, you don't want it to become a problem later on..

also sounds as though he is bad with finances and you should handle all the finances, FH and I do this too...
