hello am i crazy i'm almost 30 years old and i'm considering going back to school to become and elemantray school teacher....do u think by the time i finish shcool i'll be to old to be a teacher???

Absolutely not! I'll be 28 next month and I just started my classes this semester. I work fulltime so it will take me awhile to finish.

exactly. Go back to school, you'll regret it if you don't. And 30 is FAR from old.

Definetly not too old, my sister just became a teacher at 34 and she is sooo happy she did it. If it is what you want it is worth it. Go for it!

I just figured I'd mention my own personal story...I went back to school several years ago...I am now 30 and I graduated May of 2006. I also went for teaching...only it was for secondary ed in English. I am currently working for the 2nd year as a middle school english teacher. I do not think you are too old AT ALL! In fact, I truly believe that I appreciated my education so much more b/c I was older. I wish you the best of luck and I DO think you should go for it. You have nothing to lose!!!!!!
