People are lining up already, are they nuts it's like 1 degree outside! And if you do are you staying for the tree lighting?

But I walked there to AX Today to shop and H&M and I couldn't even move down the block. I was so annoyed...

OOooooooooooooh I forgot the tree is being lit! I should really stay to watch! I'm only 5 blocks away... But it's too cold! Mistyeyed, people are nuts!

I know. My office was planning a party because we look right at the tree, but now no one is staying because security measures are so insane it will make it virtually impossible to get home at any reasonable time, or to have our guests make it up here without an insane hassle.

seriously, just go home, put up your tree, put your head on the floor and turn on the lights, same effect. it is nice, but go see it later, like i will with my wife (hee hee).

I don't think I'll stay... Way too much effort over a tree lightning.
And why do tourists have to walk soooo **** slow!!!!!! Its as if they're taking a stroll in the underground tunnels (I went to the new pret-a-manger for lunch)

I didn't head in that direction today during lunch. I am on 6th right by Radio City and it was a MOB scene at every corner. I love working in the city but sometimes the tourists get in my way

I used to work up there and stopped going out at lunch or only walked in the concourse because of everyone looking at the tree. Even when they are just putting the lights on and there's scaffolding surrounding it - people still stand there
