NWR-anyone know where to get a puggle

and how much are these lil ones?! God they are supercute!

We have a boggle which is a beagle boston terrier mix and we got her from american dog club in albertson. They have had puggles in the past and specialize in small dogs (although they also have big dogs too!)

They are a very reputable place, my in-laws got their cockapoo there also....

I would do an online search for a breeder...friends of ours just got one from 'Shake a Paw' last week - the puppy has been in the hospital in ICU since Friday night - kennel cough, upper respistory infection, two parasites, vomiting, diarehhea (sp) they are so upset...and bascially all the shop had to say to them was 'keep us posted'

But they are adorable dogs and so smart - he learned to go to the bathroom within two days of them bringing him home

try a shelter..... you find so many adorable dogs in need of homes... and won't have to spend hundreds of dollars. I know you might not be able to find a puggle (I think they are soo cute too) but you will find a great dog who will love you forever!!

Sorry for getting up on my soapbox, but it kills me to know people are spending so much $$ on doggies when thre are so many wonderful pets at shelters who need homes.

I have to 2nd LaurenlovesTJ. Try petfinder.com - that's where we found our basset hound, Frank (who is awesome! - we got him trough a basset rescue group). I adopted my cutest sweetest shih tzu thru craigslist. You can also look online for breed-specific rescue groups.

Beware of puppy stores - they get their dogs from puppy mills, and the pups are, generally speaking, not healthy. If you decide to go the route of buying a puppy, check into where you are getting him from. I don't know if there are reputable breeders of puggles, since the are not a recognized breed.

Look into adopting, though, there are a LOT of just great dogs, including puppies, out there and you'll be giving an animal in need a home. I've had 4 dogs in my lifetime (a boxer we had when I was a kid (Spike), a mutt from North Shore Animal League (Sam, who is still at my parents),
and my 2 babies), all of them are rescues, and all of them are/were the most wonderful pets in the world.

i totally agree with you however the only way my mom would ever let us (me and my bro) gt a dog it has to be a puggle...i am looking for a puggle so my bro can have a dog when i leave....my mom will go ape if we bring home a dog...but if it is a puggle it lessens the blow

i totally agree with you however the only way my mom would ever let us (me and my bro) gt a dog it has to be a puggle...i am looking for a puggle so my bro can have a dog when i leave....my mom will go ape if we bring home a dog...but if it is a puggle it lessens the blow

If you do a search on petfinder.com for 'pug', all the pugs and the pug mixes will come up (the site doesn't recognize 'puggle'). There are a bunch of puggles up for adoption in the LI area thru that site. You can also limit by age and gender if you want. Be careful, you wil fall in love whe you see the pictures! (that's how we got our dog, Frank!)
