I would like to officially announce that I am leaving my company

My last day will be July 31

No, I do not have a job lined up. I just had it with this place. Some things you just have to do because... well, you just have to do it.

I just keep saying to myself that there is a reason for everything. I truly believe this from the bottom of my heart. Theres so much better for me out there.. I am going to start sending my resume out the 1st week of August.

janie - you will find something in no time!! dont fret!! enjoy your few weeks b4 your wedding and your HM - dont worry about anything until after your home and settled. you will be fine.

that job has made you miserable for a very long time and i am just glad that you have finally made the decision to leave.

i'm so proud of yoU! i posted a couple of weeks ago to see if anyone quit their job without having another one lined up because i am absolutely miserable too and have been for 2 loooooong years. as it gets closer to my wedding i'm considering it more and more...just really worried about $. I was in a similar situation as you about 6 months ago, I was ABSOLUTELY MISERABLE at my last job, I work for an “insane” person, I finally had to quit because it was affecting my health going into work everyday. I am happy to say that I now work in a wonderful place with really great people.

I guess what I am trying to say is that things will start to look up, and once you find a new job, you’ll see what a good decision it was for you to leave. Remember if you are that miserable at your current job, things get only get better.

congrats - i've read your posts about hating your job for a long time. I completely understand you having to do something for yourself....I would have done the same thing. congrats to you for making the move!
