NWR: Baby Shower

NWR: Baby Shower

One of my BMs is pregnant and due March 12. She's had a lot of complications made worse by the fact that admin is giving her a hard time about work. They are trying to force her to take a LOA which means once she's used up her days- no $$. Basically everyone is just pretending she's not pregnant because they are so nervous around her. She's not very 'girly' in that she's not the type to gush over being preg even if all was okay. I feel bad because I think she should have a shower. I was thinking the Friday during Regents (Jan 25) I could use the Valley Stream KofC that my XH is house caterer for to throw her a (cheap, last minute) shower. Do you think that it is good date-wise because it is only a little over month away? I just really think someone should make her feel special before the baby comes. (I refuse to believe all will not be okay)

i think its a great idea...and if you do it jan 25 u have plenty of time to plan it and everything! Every new mom should have a shower!!!

I think that is so sweet of you to think of her and do something that will make her happy -- and help her get stocked on the things she will need.

6 weeks before is plenty of time. We had my sisters 2 weeks before (the baby was a little early but still).
