Does anyone take Estrostep FE? My doctor recommended switching my pill and I told her I would think about it. She suggested this one?? I am worried because the things I am reading about say that this pill is for Moderate- Severe acne. I break out around my period but I would say its mild. Do you think that matters?
i was on estrostep fo 8 years. I didn't have any severe acne....i don't think you need to worry about that. but i will say that i did develop a growth in my liver and the doctor's told me it was from birth control, so i had to stop it completely.....so just be cautious with birth control in general.....(don't want to scare you, its just what happened to me)
Yikes! That sounds pretty serious. Did the growth have to do with Estrostep or just BC pills in general?? I am not planning on staying on BC long term as we plan on having children within the next few years but this is definitely something to look into. It seems that there are so many pros/cons to using the pill.
