NWR Best Friend loss her sister

Such a sad day today-my best friend lost her sister to leukemia this morning. She was only 30 years old and passed away in her sleep. Words can't even begin to express the sadness i feel and I don't even know what to say to my friend; i literally just stayed on the phone here at work just letting her cry and trying to hold back my own tears

I'm so sorry to hear about your best friend's sister. That's just awful. I think that you did the best thing that you could by just being there for her and letting her cry...sometimes it's best just to do that than try to say something because you feel you should.

You and her and her family are in our thoughts.

oh no...that is such sad news. It is especially awful to hear that a person is so young...I hope you will be a great source of support and comfort for your friend.

I am sooo sorry i lost my grandfather to Leukema a year and a half ago and it ******!!!

All you can do is be there for your friend and help her through it. With your support she will make it though

OMG she was so young. At least she won't feel anymor pain, although that doesn't make it any easier for the loved ones she left behind.

Thanks everyone

She has a lot of prayers right now; I plan to try to go to their house tonight if she wants me to. I'm sure they'll have a lot of family & friends there to support them.
