My FH is FINALLY after 6 LONNGGGGGG years.... DONE with the MARINES
WHOO HOOO no more deployments for me!!!!
We will still be having a military ceremony on the wedding because he will be inactive reserves.... and then he will change to a tux for the pictures and the reception. YAY YAY YAY
I cant tell you the stress this has put me through over the last 6 years and I am just THRILLED and soooo proud of him. Part of me will kind of miss the birthday ball and seeing him in his uniform.. but it is worth the sacrafice to have him safe and home.

My friend who just married in July- husband had to go to Afganistan 1 week after the wedding! they had to leave the honey moon early
I felt so bad for her- I couldn't imagine living like that!

Yea FH was in Kuwait for the start of the war (like when they were bombing and all that) and it was my last smeester of college, so I was student teaching, doing my thesis and working 2 jobs. It was the WORST 6 months of my life.
