I work for a corporate travel agency.
I recently found out that the account I am at now( I am at an onsite account) has deceided to switch to a different agency.
the NEW agency wants me to come aboard with them since I know the account well and all that stuff.
WELL, when I met with the OWNER of the agency I work presently and he really wants me to stay. He flat out asked What do you want from me to get you to stay??? Now, he very rarely talks to the employees so calls you by your first name, he likes you. PS- This man called me when I had my back surgery to see how i was feeling and to see if I needed anything!!!! Who does that???

Mind you, I have been here for almost 6 years and had no thoughts of even leaving. So he offered me more money, AND the option of working from HOME (living in Bay Shore and commuting to the city kinda stinks!!!!!!!!!).
Hes really cool.....he asked where I was going on my HM and I told him Aruba. Then he asked if we were flying business class and I said 'I wish....but we cant afford it, not right now since we have the house and the wedding' and I said jokingly if you want to pay for business class your more than welcome.

WELL, today I looked up my itinerary and sure enough..........................it says BUSINESS!!!!!!
I cant believe he did that!!!!!!
