I just read an article that cicadas will make a return by the end of the month. They haven't been in the NYC area since 1996. I was in elementary school so all I remember is how annoying they were.
Any summer brides worried about trying to take pics outside with these nasty things all over...LOL

I don't remember ever seeing them, personally, I LOVE the sound of cicadas.... it sounds like SUMMER!!!

I feel like we always get a few in the summer but I do remember being a kid and having a TON of them. They are really loud! Ughhhhh they are gross too!
