Re: nwr - coffee
I used to have problems with coffee- but then my dad said something that helped, if you drink the coffee without sugar it is less irrating to your stomach- it worked for me- i'm not sure if you drink coffee with sugar, but try without and see how you feel or try splenda hth

Apparently I wanted you to drink tea so bad I posted twice.
guess i should really give it a try
seriously though, it doesn't bother my stomach at all the way coffee used to, and it still gives you the much-needed caffeine boost.

Yes coffee is horrible for anyone with acid refluz or any stomach issues. I had to cut down to only a few times a week.

Depends on what you're looking for. In the morning to wake me up I drink Irish Breakfast tea. It's the most robust (strongest) I think....lots of flavor and I really feel it wake me up....other teas don't have the same affect on me. Like regular Lipton does nothing and after drinking all sorts of other teas I think it's pretty bland. I think Barry's brand Irish Breakfast is the strongest and the most flavorful...it's an irish brand and you can either find it in smaller gourmet stores or if your supermarket has an irish foods section.
In the afternoon if I feel myself draining I'll drink like a red tea or some sort of fruit tea....caffeinated but not as strong as Irish Breakast....Twinings makes lots of good flavors. At night I drink all sorts of flavored decaffeinated teas...vanillas and caramel and chamomiles. Chamomile is VERY good if you're feeling a little nauseous or tense....it relaxes you and it's always decaffeinated. So i'll drink that right before bed if I'm having a crappy night, it helps calm me down...more than other decaffeinated teas. I'm kind of a tea snob so if you have any other questions, let me know.
