NWR: cutting shoe heels

Anyone have this done. Can a shoe heel be cut about 3/4 inch without messing with the arch of the shoe?

If you have done his can you recommend a place?

Whether or not the heel can be cut depends on the base of the shoe and how much of an allowance there is. The shoe place people should be able to tell you if it's doable beforehand.

I have a really great place but I'd have to check with my mom on name/location.

there is a shoe place in astoria queens on 30th ave and crescent...dont know the name but its the only one there so you cant miss it

not sure if you are one of the few queens/bk girls
but they cut a shoe for me and did a great job
and they've fixed tons of heels for me as well

i have never heard of this...then again i always want my heels to be higher

I think it totally depends on the shape of the shoe. My coworker wanted a heel cut but the guy told her it would hurt her lower back because of the way it was arched, there would be too much pressure on her heel.
