I really think I may need a facial to get rid of some dead skin cells before my makeup trial but I am really afraid of breaking out from it. I have heard stories where people who have never really had acne have gotten facials & they then began to have regular break outs. Any feedback?

Dee, I got one done at Christys in Bay Terrace and really broke out and I am thinking about doing it again, but I am scared. Good luck

I almost forgot... I got microdermabrasion done 2 weeks before my dad's wedding. My skin was great....it glowed! I had that nice dewy skin. I think I paid $125 & only went for 1 session
I remember coming home from the place & FH saying my face felt like baby's butt
here's a picture from dad;s wedding, 2 weeks post-dermabrasion.
I have posted about my skin problems on my back, but let me tell you I love the oxygen facial. It is one of the best facials I have ever gone for. It actually puts oxygen back into your skin, and does not make you break out. It reduces fine lines and they say it is good to do before your wedding day because the skin is so smooth and your eyes look revitalized..I highly recommend it....Oxygen facial once a month

If you have a dermatologist you go to, they usually do microdermabrasion so it doesn't hurt to ask them about it.
Salons do it too, but I go to Island Dermatology which does a lot of cosmetic procedures including facials and microderm.

I've never heard of oxygen facials! I'm going to look into that.
