a close friend of mine owns 2 mini dachshunds and they have 2 children under 7 years of age and definitely are great with children!!! so cute!! you should definitely check the paper for breeders for daschunds. or google it maybe?

I found my mini pincher in the paper for way cheaper than they sell in the pet stores - and she's fine.

a friend had one in middle school. from what i remember, he was a good dog.
