I was wondering why my eye was bothering me - so i look in the mirror and see a effin stye over my left eye!!! EWWW - i always yell at FH for touching his face especially after working w/ first graders all day b/c he gets the often and now look who has one!!!

When I have a stye I use eye drops that are made for styes and they usually go away in about a day! Give it a try!

I've heard that putting a hot tea bag over it works. Like dip it in boiling water , drain it a little, and then put it on your eye.

Ugh, I hate them! It does help! Though it doesn't even have to be a tea bag- even just a warm compress will help.

Def hot compresses or tea bags.
IF you can see the MD, antibiotic opthalmic ointment will help.
I'm sureyou know what to do though if FH gets thema ll the time.

FH(Steve) is Italian, with DARK hair... and he's very.. let's say...virile looking in terms of hair? LOL
So anyway, he has a 5 o'clock shadow by 11am... and it grows in such a way that you can see a goatee would look great on him (I love when he's just a little scruffy btw, very sexy)
So I keep begging him to shave but leave the goatee (it's such a natural hair line it would be so easy for him to do) because I think it would look kinda hot on him, but he refuses. One day though he did it while he was shaving and sent me pics via cell and called the pics 'Evil Steve'. So NOW I beg him to be Evil Steve and he won't do it!
So every time I see the title of your post, Eloise, I keep seeing 'EVIL STEVE!!!' LOL Just thought I'd share.

I would put a warm cloth or papertowel (you can just run hot water over it) over your eye for 10 minutes, 4 times a day. A warm teabag is good also. Same idea Worked for me, hope it works for you

Well the f'n kick in the head is - i dont wear makeup during the week, I work from home so who do I need to look decent for LOL so that's why I'm like where the eff did it come from??
But thanks ladies - i did the homecompress thing last night and it went down A LOT its just about gone!!!

This might sound silly, but it's my grandma's old school remedy for styes, and whenever I feel one coming I try this and it always goes away. Gold is supposed to make it go down, so I rub my mom's plain gold wedding band or the back of one of my gold rings where the stye is for like 15 minutes and it ALWAYS works..lol..I know it sounds crazy lol. but yeah make sure you wash the ring before and after lol

Oh man that stinks! I used to get them all the time because I work with kids. My doctor told me to wash my eyelashes with baby shampoo(tear free), throw out my mascara, and use hot compresses. Good luck!
