It looks like Disney movies done between 1989 and 1994 are the majority here.

Little Mermaid.
Because I KNOW I've seen/read a version where the only way Ariel can get her voice back is to stab Eric, and she does.
It's a dark tale - I think it may have been the original and you know how Disney took those freaky deaky stories and turned them into appropriate tales for kids.
Actually Disney did had the stabbing part right, only that Eric did stab Ursula with his boat (at that point, Ariel already had her voice back but returned as a mermaid).
And Spot's hot too! It just the Jack's 'Santa Fe' part always gets me. I wanted to give him a hug!
Very true though. I did feel bad for him. He was all alone and dave had the family

Exactly! And come on, it's Christian Bale singing! Yeah, BATMAN SINGING!! When I was younger, I wish I was Sarah (Dave's sister) being kissed by Jack in the end of the movie.
Yay some Cinderella lovers here. I love the story, just not the Disney version, though I heart Jacques and Gus!

That's because she gets to kiss Jack in the end.
Darn it, I have 'King of New York' in my head right now.

Me neither. The only thing I know of that movie is Christina Aguilera's song 'Reflection'.
You have to admit, Bambi losing his mom is up there as the saddest moment in Disney cinema, along with Simba losingh is dad.
