girls, since I'm off my feet I really can't do anything special for FH's bday this year, which is Friday. I ordered his gift online (Mets/Phils series tix so he can have his last hurrah at Shea before it becomes CitiField). I also have a DIY bday card that I did earlier this week. But I really have no way of surprising him with anything special. What can I do in such short notice since I can't walk??? is it too weird to send chocolates and balloons to the office? What options do I have? TIA for the ideas!!!

Did you saw the threat about buying a block (or something like that) for the new mets stadium I think that is something that any mets fan will love (and he can brag to his friend)

yeah i posted something about that the other day.... i'm doing that with our wedding date on it.... it'll be his wedding gift!

Hey, can you like, decorate for him? Like the house? The reason I ask, is because last year, I sent fh something from MrsFields (i was really sick that week but I got better) and I wrote 'Since I cant do much this year, I thought this would be a nice surprise'
and then that night, decorated the entire house and his sister and brother came over and my parents and we surprised him...

i've done it, but i was able to walk (big happy bday banner in the living room, balloons, etc) but i can't go get them this year!!!! and i can't stand long enough to put them up lol

awwww thanks!!!! we only know people from work cause we recently relocated here. my job is pretty mad at me for taking sick leave so soon after relocating! so i can't ask anyone there!!!!
my mom suggested sending him something at work but do you think that would embarrass him??? lol
