my son had to have a sonogram of his kindneys when he was about 19 months old...I was a month from my due date with his brother...I worked the appointment to co inside with my sonogram so we could both go get our sonograms and be done...I got mine and he watched ...then they got ready and did his...the tech was great showing everything to my son...I had told him if he was good we would get ice cream on the way home...we stopped and got our ice cream...the women behind the counter commented on how cute pregnant women are and my innocent son turned around and said I know but Im not as big as mommy..her baby likes alot of food ..mine dosent....He thought he got a sonogram because he was pregnant,,,,for weeks he told everyone he was and that his was a girl because girls have boy babies and boys have girl babies....I have never laughed so hard!!

ok, it wasn't funny then, but I think it is hysterical now --

When i was in kindergarten, I was rocking my purple courderoy's and pink and purple butterfly turtleneck with the cloth belt that had a weird buckle ( I LOVED this outfit). It was like a rectangle buckle, you pulled it up, slid the belt thru, and then closed it and these 'teeth' went thru the cloth. anyway, my mother dressed me and pushed the belt buckle down so hard that when I went to pee, I couldn't get it out... I remember crying in the bathroom and the teacher coming to get me a few minutes later (i guess she wondered what was taking me so long). Needless to say, my mom had to bring me a change of clothes. I never wore those clothes again nd made my mom throw out the buckle...

i have a good one!

Okay so FH bought a boat and we went out on it for the first time. It was a beautiful day but all of a sudden it got really stormy. We were fishing and drifting when we hit a sand bar. So FH panics and tries to get out of it but the motor just digs deeper into the sand. Now, we are taking on water really bad and using all these buckets to get the water out. The storm picks up and the waves are breaking OVER the boat ( mind you this is the BAY and i have NEVER seen white caps in the bay before/after!) so another boat passes by and they scream for us to put on our life vests so we do - and they radio the coast guard.

the coast guard sends three boats but we were so far into the sand bar that they couldnt get close to us. SO THEY SEND HELICOPTERS. These two guys JUMP out of the helicopter and propel down these ropes. . .and splash down into. . . . about two inches of water - seriously, their feet werent even covered in water and here we are like thinking we are going to drown to death ( bailing out water this whole time) the two guys literally PUSH the boat off the sand bar with their hands and we float away and we are off the sand bar. But they board our boat and and we were like why didnt you just tell us to do that? (to get out and push) and they are like WHERE ARE THE KIDS OMG ARE THEY OVERBOARD WHERE ARE THE KIDS?! yeah, when the guys radioed in they said 'there are two kids on a sinking boat with no life jackets'. . .so they were looking for little KIDS - but the guys meant WE were the kids. . .

we were SOAKED and mortified. . . it was horrible - FH just sold his boat ( about three years later) and i am kind of glad bc every time i went on it i thought about THAT adventure.

OK so I'm filling out this survery on myspace and it triggers the funniest thing that has ever happened to me and I have to share this.



I used to work at Bally Total Fitness and a woman came running out of the locker room screaming 'Someone is dead in the locker room!' So I jump up and dash into the locker room and she shows me where. I walk around the corner and there is a locker half open and legs sticking out....I feel like I'm going to throw up because all I can picture in my head is someone murdered and shoved into a locker. So I walk over to the locker and open it up....ANd there it is















A pair of prosthetic legs...LMFAO

OMG- that is sooo cute!!!!

For my first car (17 yrs old) I had a real old Mercedes - a 1977... it was the bomb. I loved that car.

Anyway, one day it stalled on me at home and I couldn't get it to start. So my dad (he was at work) called our mechanic, who by the way was so freaking hot, and told him to come over to see what was wrong with the car. So he comes over, gets into my car, gets out, and says 'OK, you're all set.' I was like, 'what?!?!?!?!' He said I forgot to put the car back in park. I was so embarrassed.

One time I left my car running in the Commack movie theatre for an entire movie.

OMG- don't feel bad. I've done that...

About 2 years ago FH and I went to the diner and I was driving and he was complaining about something (as usual) so I was distracted and I parked, we got out of the car, went to the diner. We came out to realize I left the car running the whole time we were in there....LOL

Of course it was his fault b/c he was complaining and distracted me
