NWR- Halloween Fundraiser

My FH and I started a foundation for Parkinsons Research. We are having a Halloween Bar Night on Saturday October 30th at Uptown Lounge in NYC. It is $50 but that includes 3 hours of open bar (top shelf) and finger foods, and a lot of fun.

My FH's father recently died of Parkinsons. It is not a huge foundation but it is a way for keep his father's name alive. His father was actually big into Doo wop music (He actually has produced numerous shows that were at Madison Square Garden) so we decided to mix music and Parkinsons. The name of the foundation is Nader Rock N Rollover Parkinsons Foundation.

We have a few events a year and we also accepted donations after his death. So it is nothing big but has a lot of meaning. We try to do mostly open bar type events. We get a price from the bar and then add some money which goes directly to the foundation. We also do a 50/50 at all events also.

Thats a wonderful gesture! My dad is a huge doo wop fan too!

I cant go on the 30th but keep us informed of other events :)
