I want to take my friends, FH and little nephew to a haunted house next month. I heard there are many on LI and I have been seeing an ad in the subways for the scariest haunted house in NY. Has anyone been to a haunted house? I heard the Westbury Gardens also host one?????

We go to the haunted houses every year for Halloween.
You can take them to the one that's done out of the Fun Zone in Farmingdale on Rte. 110--that not only has the haunted house, but they have performers and they can also go on rides.
There's also the Bayville one, which is really popular.

honestly the haunted houses arent that great...the cornfield maze like someone mentioned earlier is good...plus a haunted house is done quickly so youll drive all the way out somewhere and it will be over quickly

I've been to the one on Pinelawn Road in Melville and one on the north shore, by the water. I don't remember if it was the Bayville one or not, but that was fun. There are good ones upstate too about an hour away.
