NWR: Household chores and how to make them not so chorey

I should be a ashamed to admit this but the truth is the truth and I'm kind of a slob. I cannot seem to organize my place which was bad when it was just me and now it's awful since my FH is here all the time. His clothes and my clothes and papers everywhere. I don't know where to begin but I know I have to start but I don't just want a spring cleaning fix but a routine that I can fit in that won't consume my life. Does anyone have any suggestions or tips?

throw out things you don't need. I use space saver bags for my clothes that are not in season. It saves space in the closet. Tackle one space at a time.

You should start off by doing a big spring cleaning. Get rid of anything you do not use regularly. This includes shoes, clothes, household items, etc. Then once you determine what you are keeping, find a place for it all. Once everything has a place, all you have to do is always put things in their place.

It's about cleaning things up everyday little by little, and committing yourself only 15min at a time. Makes big tasks seem more doable!
