so far so good here in bk...didn't lose power thank god meanwhile i have pots of water on my stove lol..didn't sleep good kept waking up and also worried about my brother who is still on duty since last night at 8...my block looks ok but this wind the sound sounds like a hallow echo its hurting my ears

All seems fine here in Forest Hills area where we're at. I just looked down the street, there's a few branches down.

I am in hauppauge and we still have power at my house but I know a lot of houses around here dont. My hubbys parents block has a tree knocked down blocking anyone from getting in or leaving the block. The winds are crazzy and my backyard is a messs.

We still have power for now , FI had to work all night and made it home safe this morning Its still windy but hopefully not much more damage will occur.

One of my co-workers just posted the following pictures from the area where I work in, right by Brooklyn Bridge in DUMBO. YIYKES!!!!
First one is by the Brooklyn Bridge Park --- where the water is usually like 8 feet UNDER this.
My office is right next to the yellow sign

Oh my goodness - I feel so bad for people that have lost power! I hope it all restores soon

wow i know a few people who work over there....not good....i am happy it wasnt worse...idk how im getting to the city tomorrow with no mass transit...i keep calling my hotline and no update...this should be fun
i checked on my parents there are good they didnt get anything either thank god...my bro has to now work till 4 and the belt is closed so he may crash here with me...poor kid is exhausted...mind u he isnt a kid hes 29 but hes still my baby brother lol

flooding here in babylon-- flashing flew off our windows. We consider ourselves lucky as half the town is under water right now. The water came up to montauk hwy though!!! just insane!
