My guy friend’s wife is from New Orleans. Her mother and brother lost everything and had to move in with them indefinitely. I have already sent money to the Red Cross, but I want to also send something to help them out, since I feel like I am helping someone that I kind of know. It's nothing big, maybe $200.
My other friends said it might be insulting to send money to my friend and his wife. I obviously do not want to insult them or make them feel uncomfortable. Should I send a gift certificate or something? I was thinking of sending something anonymous, what do you think? Thanks!
