My mom told me that they are putting my dog to sleep next week because her hips are bad and she keeps falling. They say she can't walk anymore without shaking... I know they think they are doing the right thing, but I am so sad..... I won't get to say g'bye. We have had her for 14 years

Thats sad. We just had to put our dog down last Nov. She was 15 and had arthritis. She also had a big tumor in her body. One day she just didn't want to eat anything, my mom offered her meat she didn't even want it. We knew something was wrong. That night they brought her to the hospital and put her to sleep. The vet said her tumor could burst at any time. We didn't want to take that chance.
It was hard. We ended getting another dog a few months later. But no dog compared to ours befroe.
