NWR -- I can see how some people get road rage!

I just want to vent about last night.
I work in Woodbury and live in Patchogue. Normally, my commute takes an hour. It took 2 and a half hours to get home last night because of the snow. Traffic was bumper-to-bumper practically the whole way.

Anyways, this REALLY frosted my butt. On Southern State, there was a line of cars waiting to get off the exit ramp for Sunrise Highway. The roads were really bad and cars were going very slow. So, I am 'on line' to get off at Sunrise. I must have waited 20-30 minutes! BUT, there were several people who decide to 'cut' all the people waiting! I want to know who made some of these people think they are GOD. arrrrrrrrggggggg!!!!

AND.....as I am on Sunrise, I started sliding because the roads were icing up. I had to reduce my speed to about 25 to 30 mph and stay in the right lane. This SUV decides to hitch a ride on my bumper! I swear, I wanted to kick his a$$!

Ok, I'm done.......and feel a little better....thanks for listening!

Haha I know exactly how you feel. I take the southern state to sunrise to get to school and there is always a line waiting to get off at sunrise east. It really bugs me when people speed up and cut off the patient people on line!!!! This is why guns are illegal!! haha

I understand exactly how you feel-I used to commute from Patchogue to Westbury for work and that line to get onto Sunrise used to be horrible 98% of the time-and when I saw those other people speeding ahead and getting in it made me furious-I blame my days of having to commute as the cause for my slight road rage

Sorry Michele that you had to deal with that!!! I so hear you and feel for you!
I drive a little car and yes, I do get a little overly cautious on the road especially when it comes to SNOW. So, typical SUVS who think they OWN the road because they have 4WD get on my last nerve too. I had someone almost make me cause an accident because I got so nervous due to the tailgating!
ARGHHH! See, I just got mad again!

I have the worst road rage. I curse like a truck driver when I am in the car!

It's funny I was driving last night (on sunrise) and came home and warned FH to watch out that the jerks were out in force last night all over the road!

lol...i know what you mean...I don't understand ppl who like to take drives to relax. My blood pressure always shoots through the roof. Sometimes I wonder how some ppl ever get their license?????

I know how you feel. Some people really should not be allowed to drive. I've had people ride my bumper while Im doing 70 to get them off of me and i can't switch lanes because some other idiot has me boxed in. Or when they look in your window as they are passing you notice the two carseats and cut you off anyway.
