NWR- I can't sleep..in pain...stupid girls

today, FH and I had a snow day together (I know, we're lucky!!) and so we decide to brave the roads, and pack up the sleds and go sledding at a school where the hills are really fun and HUGE!...so anyway, we were having fun, though it was so so cold...on one of my trips down, i put out my feet to stop and the snow sprayed up into my face and eyes, which can i just say, caused me tremendous pain. my eyes are still bloodshot, HOURS later. BUT that's not the worst part... i could barely see, and i was trying to get up from the saucer sled (i know, i'm like an 8 year old)... and i couldn't open my eyes and i'm panicking because I figure I've GOTTA be in the line of some other sledders...

and then i hear it...all of a sudden, the sound of two girls, screaming in laughter, coming closer and closer, all the while, i'm still blinded..and then BAM, they crash into me...into my ankle and knee and i go flying face down into the snow. by this time, FH came running over to me and i'm crying (a little...again, i'm 8 remember?!) and the girls just kept laying in the snow laughing and laughing, which made me angrier (which made me cry more...luckily i had my scarf over much of my face)...and FH yelled at them and made them apologize ...can you believe they didn't even have the courtesy to say 'sorry'?? they were at least 15 years old.

anyway, since then, i've had my ankle on ice all night, a heating pad on my leg, which just hurts, and my neck. I took advil and i just can't sleep...i'm hurtin! anyway, i just wanted to vent. i LOVE snow days, and I will STILL love snow days...but man, word to the wise, don't go sledding without your ski glasses. PS- my FH is the best though, he took care of me all day, bought me a hot chocolate and gave me lots of hugs. (plus he yelled at those girls and made them feel stupid!)

Awww.... least you were having fun. Hope you feel better soon. Try taking a hot bath.... that may help

aww!! thank you girls!! today my ankle definitely feels a little better. i'm gonna do more ice and heat today. but thanks for all your hugs and well-wishes!!

Reading the story i started to giggle... I can imagine the whole thing... Inch by inch.... until You fell. Sorry... Thats why he have our Kings... They r always there 2 protect us.. I would have jumped on the girls thou... Then again i am just a evil person... hope u get betta...

i had a moment where i just wanted to run at them and attack...i was SO mad at them! just some blind, crazy girl with a saucer sled, running and screaming ...that's some sight!

actually, it's okay. it's a little swollen on the outer side BUT i can bend it without cringing so... thank you for asking!! :o) i'm so grateful that it feels a little better and not a little worse - i thought i might wake up to a swollen, painful nightmare...but it seems i lucked out!! thank you for asking!!

f teen skanks. In the social order, they rank down there with fungus. I am so sorry, yet FH sounds awesome! Mine would have been laughing with the skanks.

def skanks! total fungus of the fungus! ...yeah, FH is sweet, i'm surprised he didn't laugh, but he said he saw the whole thing and he was too concerned i didn't break anything. apparently, it looked really bad from a distance!

Stupid girls if they saw you why the heck didn't they go the other way..i swear people are just so ridiculous sometimes. I'm sorry your in pain, maybe try rubbing it down with Bengay or one of those ointments
