NWR: I GOT THE HOUSE

With all the drama that happened to me all week with what happened in court, today I went to PA for the closing and guess what? Everything went okay. The closing was long but everything went smoothly. I was able to sign everything and now I am the proud owner of a house in Allentown. My mami have her own place thanks to me. She gave me the biggest hug but does feel sad that I will be with her for a year before getting married next year. She's just very grateful for what I've done for her.

Anyway, we already started the moving process but ordering new carpets and floors for the house. I also noticed a lot of vendors within the area to get some stuff for the wedding. The limo company is around the corner of my brother's new house over there. Plus tons of arts and crafts stuff for my DIY stuff. YAY I'm so happy that mom and I get the house. I can't wait to show it to FI when he's visiting in December. Then again, I can't wait to talk to him tomorrow about the house (and my inpending trip down to T&T).

You should have seen my mother's reaction! Priceless! Good thing after the first closing (we went back for my brother's closing) that the real estate agent who sold us the house took us out for lunch and paid the tab.

Now cross your fingers the interview goes well on Tuesday and the dress try-on goes okay on Wednesday.

Congrats girl. That is wonderful news getting your own house. It must be a relief.

Thanks. I do need to get some sleep. Been out all day and I gotta work in the morning. Plus, I gotta start typing my 2-weeks notice to my boss (which won't be hard at all). Anyway, hasta manana ladies.

That's a bunch of nice houses in the Lehigh Valley that they are making for about 230K but the taxes are a bit steep (not Nassau Ct. steep but in the $2,000 range).

Philly I heard is a bit ghetto and the Poconos is too cold.
