NWR: I need new jeans! Any recommendations?

I can't find jeans that fit me well. I just want nice jeans that don't come too low that I have to worry about my butt crack showing if I sit down! I'm pretty average in size but I'm definitely not slim enough or tall enough to pull off certain brands...doe anyone have any recommendations? TIA

i usually have good luck w/ gap jeans.

American Eagle are my absolute fav! It is all I own.

I do love 7s just cant bring myself to pay the price for them

I still haven't gone, but look into the Levi's store(s) in NYC). They have this machine that will take all your measurements and suggest what type of jeans would be good for your body type.
I believe once you do that, that the machine will give you recommendations for other clothing stores...or it will give you stores you can go to withwith that info, something like that.
I am hopefully going to get there in the next 2 weeks

where is this store? I have heard this but have never bought levi's so i don't know where the store is, but i would love this cuz i also have problems buying jeans

I love my citizens! They fit really well and are a very nice quality jean - tho I suppose they better be for the amount they charge! But sagapo is right, they are super long so you'll definitely need to get them hemmed.

OOH and if you get your citizens hemmed- or any jeans, actually- spend a little extra and ask them to keep the original hem on the bottom...

I LOVE my express jeans. I have a pair of sevens and buffalo's, but the 2 pair of good ol' express jeans are the ones I always grab.

GAP or Express - My friends swear by Abercrombie but my booty is not fitting into those!

A new place that I just started to shop at for jeans is the Limited and I LOVE THEM! Also, Express and I swear by the jeans in Guess!

Abercrombie has the best jeans for me. A bit pricey, not as bad ast 7's, but so worth it. A great pair of jeans can change your life!

my friend buys hers off of ebay, she's gotten them from $20-40. as long as you know your size, it's a great way to go!

I would be very careful when buying 'authentic' items on ebay. I purchased a pair of Citizens about a year ago and the seller swore on his life that they were '100% authentic' and 'new with tags.' Upon arrival I realized that they were most definitely fake. To make matters worse, the a$$hole seller didn't even apologize for lieing, and then I had to spend another $15 on insurance and shipping to send it back to him! I would steer clear of ebay for jeans, unless you are absolutely sure that they are authentic. Trust me, it's more hassle than it's worth (unless of course you do get authentic jeans at a good price!).
