This is probably meant for the younger brides but I guess it can apply to anyone really.
Do you find that your parents or other family members still treat you like you are a kid? It's really bugging me, hopefully when they see me walking down the aisle, reality will set in that I'm not 8 years old anymore

I will be almost 33 by the time I get married, and my parents still treat me like a child...I have a feeling it really won't change even after I'm married...

Yeah i HEAR ya girl. LOL Im a pretty young bride (ill be 23 when we get married) and im also the mother of a 22 month old. When it comes to talking to my mom and even my FMIL I still feel like they talk to me like I dont know what im doing.
Yes planning a wedding may be complicated BUT its going to be the way me and my FH want it.. and I think because im young they try to help just a little too much .. hang in there

Oh yeah, my parents definitely still treat me like a child! I think for most parents, their child never grows up

Im with him over 6 years, now Im ready and want to get married, a couple of years back I wasnt ready

My parents are divorced, and i havnt lived with them in 4 years, so they treat me like an adult. I actually really great relationships with both of them, and i feel like they are more my friend than a parent.
