Dude, I would go to the wedding and give a card with nothing in it. It would say 'Since you already helped yourself to the change jar you can consider that your present'.
Why should you miss out on a night of free food and entertainment? Go and have fun - you don't even have to go to the ceremony, just the reception to have fun!

Well that could be a problem. Tell Fh your plan and tell him to go and drink his body weight in alcohol! Seriously, no reason you should have to miss a party. I think Fh can control himself for a night once he finds out the plan.
Just accept the fact his cousin is a jerk and leave it at that.
