I am not one for celebrity gossip - in fact I didn't watch anything/read anything related to the marriage of Kim and whatever her husband's name is. However, I am so disgusted by the fact that they are divorcing. Why even bother? Is it all for the publicity? Doesn't anyone believe in the true meaning of marriage anymore? Aside from the beautiful spiritual meaning of a marriage union, marriage is also a legal contract. If you aren't willing to enter into it and abide by the 'rules' of marriage, why waste your time? I'm probably preaching to the choir, and I'm sorry for the rant, it just really disturbs me that people take the idea of marriage so lightly... Is it just me??

Whole thing didn't surprise me, either. BUT... I was seriously miffed that she could spend all that money (AND get so much money in return) for a sham of a marriage that only lasted 72 days!!! How can someone just get married and divorced so casually?!

Whole thing is disturbing... Just like the teen celebrities that children look up to---the adult celebrities are equally as disturbing. It's a shame what we seem to value in our society, at times. Why is this girl even famous? She's pretty? She's got a big arse?
What about character? Core Values? Commitment? Genuine Love? Hard work? Dedication and Family?
Unfortunately, the media has made some of our most sacred institutions--nothing but a mockery. It's a crying shame.
But, all we can do is be true to ourselves and feel sorry for those who can't seem to grasp the concept.

It does bother me because she can easily throw money away and just have a wedding whenever she wants. What problems could they possibly have that they can't work out in a short amount of time?

It definitely makes me view her differently. It makes me feel like she has no backbone and her life is a show.
