SORE LOSERS

Sorry, but get over it. You might not agree but apparenlty 59 million Americans think he is the better man for the job. Take your disappointment and apply it to working for other candidates in your local elections during the next four years. Hell, run for office yourself, but don't you dare call me stupid or a moron or whatever else you have all said because you don't agree with the way I voted. You can attack the politics and policies but how dare you attack us as voters for going with our heart, just as you did for Kerry. Kerry was way more gracious about his loss than his supporters are. You're being childish - let it go and put your emotions into something good if you're so concerned about it!

Re: NWR:Kerry conceded!

Well i think that regardless of who is in office minority issues will always be in the background. I am AA and as I said before I agreed with some of each candidates positions on certain issues but not with one person entirely.

I want whats best for minorities but I also know that its going to take more than the president to change laws..its alot more involved than just one man signing a piece of paper.

Changes have to be made in society as a whole..our politicians are representaties of us..make change by choosing these guys not just a presidential vote. So many were informed on Kerry and Bush but so few of the people I know could tell me who was running for office in their immediate community.

Re: NWR:Kerry conceded!

I did not personally attack any Bush voter. I personally applaud those who vote as long as they d so intelligently and not out of fear.

I've noticed that many Kerry supporters here were talking about factual issues. I may have misread, I've been doing politcal research all day for my politics class on the internet. Can I ask the Bush supporters to state the factual reasons why the voted for Bush? Just in yout opinion why do you think he was a better candidate?

Myasmom,

you are very optimistic. The political environment changes from adminimstration to administration, but given our current political environment it simply does take a president who can appoint justices to an aging supreme court to change laws.
If you thought minority issues were in the background before, you ain't see nothing yet.
Bush will set precedents that will affect women and minorities for years to come. I mean no disrespect to you at all, but speaking generally, I cannot understand how a person of color could vote for that man. He does not care about minorities.

I believe that you are entitled to your opinion and your choice of candidate. I do believe that the majority of people who voted for Bush have made a grave mistake, but I would never call you stupid. I was however, referring to Bush. My apologies.

I do understand what you are saying..and sorry but Bush does have some minority supporters. There are many issues that I agree with him on and there are issues that I agree with Kerry on. I wont defend my opinion..however I will enlighten you to research how our government really works...and if you think its just electing a president that will change laws pertaining to women's right s and gays..you are mistaken. ..the process is baffling..it takes alot to make a lwa and to change it.And that goes for republican or democratic...And that is how I could vote for Bush and be African American..because I am informed and made a decision based on MY beliefs and not because of skin color or promises that a politician makes 'to get into office'.

I cannot understand how a person of color could vote for that man. He does not care about minorities

And you think that all democrats that get into office do? actions speak louder than words ..some politicians talk a good game..but when the lobbyist come to town..their tune changes...

When I find a perfect candidate who supports all of y beliefs I will vote for him..You will find that alot of people did not vote for Kerry or Bush with all their heart..some of us didnt trust either one.

Re: NWR:Kerry conceded!

I aggree with you 100%. I must say that I am truly disappointed in the American people and very saddened that I am part of only a minority of people to see Bush for what he truly is. This country can only go downhill from here and this saddens me. I'll stop there as I don't want to turn this conversation into a battle.

Re: NWR:Kerry conceded!

I am also very worried. Especially with this whole telling others they cant make nukes but we can. Yeah, like they are going to go for that. Plus all the other things like the environment (that is my profession)
