NWR: Laser eye surgery

Has anyone had this? My eye doctor said I may be a candidate for it, but I need to go for more testing to confirm that. I'm def interested, but a little hesitant about have a laser beam change my eye.

Any feedback?

Re: NWR: Laser eye surgery

I haven't had it done but i know many who have and I intend to get mine done withing the next year. I have only heard great things about it. Just be sure to really investigate the place, ask how many they do, make sure they are board certified and ask for references.

Re: NWR: Laser eye surgery

Had it 2 years ago. I had to go bladeless since my corneas are thin but I loved it. I was 1 line above being legally blind and now I see 20/13. I went to Dr. Chynn in NYC, he's on 14th and 5th. I love him. Never have a long wait at any follow up appointments or anything.

Re: NWR: Laser eye surgery

My Dad & my Uncle did it! No problems whatsoever and my dad can now see better then me where as in the past he couldn't see like 3 feet in front of him. (he does still need to wear reading glasses when reading like menus whose fonts are like a size 9pt)

Re: NWR: Laser eye surgery

my friend's FH had it done 3 weeks ago and hasn't had any problems. The only thing I have heard about it is some people develop a halo effect. I would do research on it but all in all its suppose to be great!

Re: NWR: Laser eye surgery

My brother got it done - and he LOVES it - he always refused to wear glasses all the time (even though he needed to) and he sd it was the best thing ever ... I am still thinking abt doing it!
