I dont know...my sister wanted to pick me and my fiancee as godparents for her next child. I'm catholic my fiancee is jewish.obviously church would have a problem with this but im convinced the church wouldnt know. In my opinion no godparent ever takes responsibility for raising the child in the faith anymore..to me a good godparent is someone who guides a child in life in general, not just faith. Thats just my opinion though!
