NWR: lets talk about babies again

NWR: lets talk about babies again

There was quite a bit of baby talk last week & it got me to thinking about after we have our number of babies.

What are you going to do to prevent another pregnancy??

For FH & I our number will be 2. Hopefully 1 boy & 1 girl. I don’t want to have my tubes tied & FH doesn’t want to be cut so it will be back to BCP for me.

Wow- that's a really interesting question- i never thought about it...We will hopefully have (2) kids (boys please-lol) and then I would prob get my tubes tied. I doubt FH would ever elect to get 'snipped'...

Fh and I had this talk already and agreed we will cross that bridge when necessary. I am not opposed to having my tubes tied if I have to deliver with a c-section but if not I don't want to then voluntarily be cut open so fh said he is not opposed to snip snip. So all depends on that fact

me and FH just had this convo yesterday. we want 2 kids. and I told him he is getting a sniperoo after that, he kinda freaked. so I guess we will cross that bridge when we get to it.... i really dont want to go on BC though. I guess we will see

Just curious... why are some of you opposed to BC? I've been on it for many years because it also lowers the risk of ovarian cancer (the type I'm on) which I am at high risk for. So, for me, it is a no brainer.

Not true. You can be any age and have no kids and get your tubes tied. Some doctors won't do it, but there are plenty that will. A friend knew she didnt want any kids, so she had hers done when she was 24.

i was doing a little reading & there are different laws in different states. i also learned that if you are married your husband has to give consent.

Interesting question, Ive thought about this myself but not really had a conversation with FH. Its so long off but I think I would consider one of those things that gets put in you that prevents pregnancy and lasts for like 5 years or something (dont really know a thing about it, just heard the advertisement on tv and I know someone who had it done).
