SO I went out to lunch shoppign today with some girls from work. Had a great time. Went to Starbucks. I pulled into the spot and BAm some idiot (sorry but he was) opened his door right into my moving car. I mean come on the jerk was on his cell phone, did not look before opening his door and totally hit my car with his door. Mind you I have a pretty big SUV (Jeep Commander) he had an SUV as well. My bumper is all screwed up. I am so totally annoyed. I spoke with the insurance company who said no way is it my fault but still now I am totally inconvenienced because of this guy. Not to mention I was an hour late back to work. Some people really can piss me off!!!
Moral of the story: STOP SPENDING MONEY SHOPPING AT LUNCH TIME!!!!!

He was a jerk. He didn't say too words to me because he knew it was his fault. I wrote up a police report. Seriosuly you cant even imagine what something so stupid could do to your car. The cop was hot atleast

wow- what a jerk- there is a 'no cell while driving' law for a reason buddy. Did the cop talk to him. Are you at least able to go theough HIS insurance?

My insurance company progressive basically said that they would do whatever it takes. The guy didnt even say two words to the cop either. He just handed his insurance info and license...oh yea and to top it off it wasn't even his car. It was registered in someone elses name!!!!!!!!!

Not terrible but the way he hit me my bumper is off in one area. Most likely they will have to replace it. My insurance company said oh man for your car thats not going to be cheap...but he was optimistic that i wouldn't have to pay a dime

What really might stink is that since you were in motion sometimes no fault makes the other guy pay a percentage and you still end up paying a percentage.
