I went to the mall today and saw something bright green fly past me... It was a baby parakeet! It landed in a tree and I went to Models and asked to borrow a net to catch it. They said yes and FH caught the birdie! We brought him home and got him a cage. We named him Modell McDuff (after the store and b/c he's green)
Isnt he cute??
OH! and the glowing eyes are my cat Petey.

He's seriously NEON green. It's crazy. My parents and I caught three when we lived in queens. Parakeets are EVERYWHERE!
Thats funy thats where we caught ours!! when we lived in queens. I was telling my dad about it and he reminded me that there were like 2 others my mom caught. they always come to the apartments lol

totally off topic but OMG i love your avatar. I started a collection of gnomes for my mom, we get her one for every gift giving holiday and we give them to her randomly too. They are taking over her whole house. i have a keychain that has two gnomes and a penguin in the middle of them and it says chillin with my gnomies. it's my favorite keychain ever
