I just started it today and I was curious if anyone else is doing it.
Have you done it in the past?
Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Re: NWR: Master Cleanse Diet
The future mrs m adked me to post this here in the hopes that it will help someone...here are my experiences with the master cleanse:
My brother had bad kidney stones and it was due to his diet so we did it to encourage him to clean out his system. My mom also had a lot of weight to lose and DH and I were normal weight but didn't feel all that healthy and were definitely eating way too many carbs and I hated how addicted I was to coffee.
So we decided to do it the day after Thanksgiving about 3 years ago. My brother lasted a half day. DH, my mom and I did the whole thing, and my mom did it for 3 weeks.
My mom lost a TON of weight. Had more energy, and was in a way better mood. You could visibly see a difference in her.
I am 5.5 and I think at the time I was about 128 pounds. I dropped 3 pounds and stayed right there. It's weird. I calculated that I was eating about 1500-1600 calories a day which is slightly higher than what I normally eat. I have a knee problem though where if I have it bent too long it pops and is really painful when I straighten it out. It was really hurting by day 3 and by day 5 it was like it was totally healed. So that’s the main benefit that I got from it. That and I totally switched up my cravings. We found that we were really really hungry by the end for salads and nuts when I thought we would be running to get a cheeseburger when it was over. It was great to do it together because we would all get together and have “dinner” together….I found though that I was in no mood to exercise when I was on the cleanse. I did the salt water flush because the laxative tea was really harsh and upset my stomach a lot. I would say it lasted about 2 months and then we started going back to our old ways. Now though my weight hangs out at around 121, so I feel that if I did it again I might possibly gain. Overall I think my lifestyle is a lot healthier since I did it. Another thing is that since the cleanse DH and I are completely off milk. Now we drink only soy. (although we still have cheese sometimes) DH used to have terrible allergies and they are much better now.
After the cleanse I found it easier to run.
DH is naturally in good shape (very annoying – he doesn’t have to work at it at all), but his mood and health overall were really really improved.
Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions at all!

Re: NWR: Master Cleanse Diet
I've done that a bunch of times...actually not the brand 'Master Cleanse' but I've detoxed a bunch of times. Are you taking the proper vitamins during your detox? I would go to a Vitamin Shoppe (or such) and ask them what kind of vitamin's you should take during. I would list them but they're at home and I can't remember off the top of my head. You do feel great after!!!!
