Re: NWR mattress help please
We bought our matress and box spring set on sale at the Macy's Furniture Warehouse in Long Island - I think it's by Roslyn Heights. I'm not sure where it is exactly, I just know how to get there. I believe it's Exit 31 - IU Willets Road...at least that's how we got there.

Re: NWR mattress help please
we got ours at Sears. They have a really great warranty. We had our mattress for one year and it started to get these funny pulls in the lining. I called them, they came one week later picked it up, replaced it and another year later its as good as new.

Sleepy's. We got a pillow top mattress, can't remember the brand name I think it's called Kingsdown, it's the one they do the test for.
Best investment we ever made and it has a lifetime warranty!!
Don't know if there's any sales going on now as there are no major holidays coming up this month, but maybe check the newspapers?

Check there first but they don't have the fancy pillow top ones. I know the Costco my hubby works at has them. They just had a coupon for them as well. Go figure.

Yes Costo does have them in the store- I bought mine at Sleepy's - Stearns and Foster pillow top- the higher the first letter of the name the mattress is called, the better the mattress. For ex: Edinburgh and Forrester- Forrester is better. They have no interest for 6 months too. I have gotten the best sleep on this in my life.

Don't ever get a clearance one.... those are the ones that people jumped on in the store for months and they have a dip in them.

Re: NWR mattress help please
If the size of your bedroom allows for it, go for a King! For the price difference, sOOO worth it!
We got ours at Levitz. HATE Levitz. We placed our furniture order in September. Let's just say that we are FINALLY (cross our fingers) going to be getting our sleigh bed THIS Saturday. 1...2...3...4...5...6 MONTHS LATER! And it was a BATTLE getting our sofa, mattress set and bedroom furniture. High Blood Pressure, INSANE, speaking to EVERY LEVITZ WORKER and their mother, kind of battle. So, I'm not recommending where we got our mattress... just the size of it. We got a Sealy Posturpedic.. VERY comfortable.

I got my matress at Ikea. It sounds really weird, but it was inexpensive (200 for a double, this was not the cheapest one either). I've had it for 3 years now, and its in really good shape and really comfy too.
Only problem with this is you have to like tie it to the roof of your car and drive home with it.
