Send a letter to the NFL to suspend Michael Vick

I wrote a letter and it took me more time to compose myself from NOT going insane on it then it did to send it...

Please please please send a letter....

I am going to curl up in a ball with my dog and try to get the images out of my head of what he did to those poor dogs.

They are laid to rest in the place they were murdered.

I cannot believe there are people out there like this. I cant even read all of the story ... it is too sad I just sent a letter. Hopefully they suspend him

That is just so so sad How can people treat animals this way? I just don't get it.

He should be shot not suspended! Or even better whatever he did to those dogs it shouold happen to him and then we can see if he can play pro football after being electrocuted and beaten!

I agree! IMO he doesn't deserve to live.

I sent it and I am so glad you posted this. I am sick to my stomach learning about such cruelty imparted to these dogs. I have pit mixes and they are the sweetest dogs. They always get bad raps cuz of ______ like these!!!

I had an odd realization about this, and I am in no way justifying what he did, it was just where my train of thought went..... I see how he managed to keep the point of view that there's nothing wrong with dog fighting.


I was totally on board with the 'do unto him what he does to the dogs' plan, then I realized that the NFL beat everyone to it.....

They take 18 year old kids, pit them against each other for years until they're too messed up to move without being in agony, and often brain damaged to boot, toss them out of the sport with no way for them to maintain their health care (which is usually surgery after surgery after surgery). They just skip the electrocution/drowning part.

Why would he treat a dog any better than the NFL treats their retired players?

Yes, they get paid, but does a kid in high school/college really get what it means to trade off your health during your elder years (which seems to start at about 50 for football players)?

I didn't even think of that...the similarites are starling, but I still don't think that excuses his behavior.
