NWR: MICHAEL VICK!!!!!!!

ITs disgusting....its because of people like him that responsible people that own those dogs get a bad rap...those dogs are AMAZING ANIMALS if you care for them. I have a pit and she's the sweetest thing ever!!!

About 2 years ago she was being naughty and got out of the yard (she digs like most dogs and broke free)...well the neighbor couldn't get in touch w/ FH (she lives w/ him) and he called animal control- they called the 7th precinct to just get the dog off the streets but because shes a pit 6 cop cars showed up and one of the cops SHOT HER IN THE CHEST!!!!!

SHE DIDNT BITE ANYONE!!! SHE WAS JUST RUNNING AROUND! ITs disgusting...it cost us almost $10K in surgury but she pulled through....she's ok now but if it wasn't for people like MICHAEL VICK raising killers out of these dogs it would have never happened!!! IT MAKED ME SOOO MAD!!!!

I had a pit prior to my bullmastiff and he was dropped at the shelter because the scumbags thought he was too small to fight!!! ARGGGGGHHH i effin hate people like that.....

i totally disagree with whoever posted about the fact that football players are treated similiarly. Not for nothing---football players are HUMAN. They can speak up for themselves. They VOLUNTARILY went into this and KNEW damn well what they were getting into. There's a reason WHY they get paid what they get paid....if they weren't so worried about their houses cars clothes bling, pimp cups, and all of that other junk they would HAVE the money to pay for their surgeries. A dog...a cat....a baby...they can't speak up for themselves. They didn't CHOOSE to be fighting dogs...they didn't choose their owner or their fate. This is TOTALLY different. Maybe i'm emotional about it bc my dog (pics in my album) WAS abused before we got him. He was kept in a cat cage for up to 12-14 hours a day. When i picked him up in november it was only about 2 months after putting my first dog down bc of cancer. That killed me. I never wanted another one bc i couldn't even stand the heartache. When i found out about Oreo i said i'd adopt him before even knowing anything else. He was very aggresive at first but all he needed was the right people to love him and take care of him. Once in a while he'll bite but at least now it's because he's playing and not because he's affraid. When i picked him up from the owner he said 'if you don't like him for whatever reason just do me a favor and throw him over the verrazzano bridge' I SHOULD'VE SPIT IN HIS FACE! People like this are complete morons...they are a disgrace and should be treated every single way they treated these dogs. I'm sorry---you can't compete being a multimillion dollar NFL player to being a slave dog. I hope i didn't offend anyone but this whole story makes me sick to my stomach. Between this a**hole and the one on LI who chained his dog and burned him with gasoline and fire i am sick to my stomach. may they all rest in peace.

I totally agree. I cannot believe that anyone would even consider taking him on their team. This is a man whose jersey I see all day long on the kids in my school. To think that these kids look up to this man after what he did... I am all for treating this dirtbag the way he treated those poor dogs.

This is beyond disgusting. As a dog lover who just lost our beautiful Coco this past Monday to cancer, I just can't understand why people do this to ANY dog!!!! They have FEELINGS!!!!!! Jesus! I hope the law comes down on him as hard as possible. Disgusting. I truly believe that you pay for the things you do, so I know one day he'll get his just desserts.

I just wrote a letter too.....a very angry letter. I hadn't hear d about this before but after reading this article I'm reading to kick the crap out of this guy gggrrrrrrrr

Sorry but Im sure no one will agree with me on this but unitl there is concrete evidence that shows (video tape, pictures etc) him committing a crime I will not say he is guilty or derserves to be suspended or banned from training camp or not be paid his salary since he is STILL on the Falcons team. If the truth of the matter is his 'family' members were the ones torturing these dogs and gave him in so they wouldnt get such a harsh punishment, then shame on them. This is why when you start to make money you cant have people who want to bring you down or just use you for your money around you. I do my best to give people the benefit of the doubt b/c with the media spin, organizations looking for blood and billions of dollars in revenue ventured on many planes someone/anyone has to be made an example of. If evidence shows Mr. Vick participated in these action then punishment is proper, but if it comes out that he wasnt involved, then I say he should sue the NFL for lost wages because they havent cut him from the team which still makes him a memebr of the Falcons

i think its a bunch of crap that he had NO IDEA at all about this. considering that its one of his homes--he is trying to say it was his family members who did this. yeah right.

the name of the fighting club was the Bad Newz Club (Vick refers to his hometown of Newport News, VA as 'Bad News, VA') not to mention one of the ppl working with the prosecution says that Vick HIMSELF handed him a prize purse of $23K in cash, after this guy's dogs won in the fight. also the witnesses who say that he was there at fights. this is all part of the reason Vick was brought into the indictment.

regardless of whether or not he knew (which to me he totally did--he's lying his assss off)--it was HIS property and its his job to make sure that his cousins and shiiit don't use his home for illegal activities. SOMEONE would have mentioned to him that this was going on in the family, whether he ignored it or threw his hands up at it--or joined in, we'll have to see....but to me he had a hand in this too.
