Re: NWR - Migraines

It's my biggest fear to have one on my wedding day, I've gotten them since I was 5. I take Imetrex, but they usually don't work right away and then make my whole body ache. Sorry you are cursed too

I get them all the time too. If I dont take anything they will last for a day and a half. My doctor had me on pretty much every prescription there is but finally what worked for me was Relpax. Sometimes it could take up to an hour to kick in but when it does its like Im a new person. It really feels like someone just flipped a switch to turn off my migraine.

The day of my wedding, Im taking one of my pills whether I feel anything or not. Im not taking any chances. Good luck!

OMG that is my fear too. That whole month I am going to stay away from the caffeine and take my

Chelated Magnesium daily.

Re: NWR - Migraines

I've had them for about 4 years now, thankfully I don't get them as offten as I used to.... I had gone to a neurologist and after tests he couldn't figure out what they were from but after studying patterns, we've both concluded they were from stress. Since prescribed meds were uneffective after a while I've realized that yoga or any exercise helps relax the migranes and gets blood moving in the head (which can be a cause). Also, drinking caffine may help. The doc had given me a type of caffine pill (but not the type that keeps you awake) and that had helped in the begining... maybe its just in my head but coffee has helped before.

I hope this helps you. I know exactly how you feel. My FH tells me i turn into the girl from the exorsist when I get a really bad one

Feel better and don't stress it
