My FH 's dog is gone from our backyard now for about five days. Our yard is closed in with high fences and two gates. It is a rottweiler. He was huge and no puppy. My FH is trying to not be sad but I know he is. Honestly I was no fan of the dog. He snapped at me a couple of times. I was more concerned for our one year old daughter. So he was really an outside dog. Has anyone expeirenced something so weird. The dog is gone from our backyard. I know that their are alot of animal lovers on here. We went to the police already.

a couple of years ago my family dog got out of the backyard and her collar fell off. We thought she was gone, then, 17 days later she came back, much thinner, but fine!! weird right

I'm sorry to hear that your dog is missing. I'm sure your FH is sad. I will think positively for you that the dog comes home safely!

I'm so sorry!! The same thing happened to my doggie, Sparky, about 10 years ago and we found his collar in the yard. We never ended up finding him and I still get sad about it! I hope you find your dog!

What town do you live in? I would def. call shelters in your area tomorrow to see if he was picked up. A rottweiler is not a little dog, most people wouldnt approach him to check his collar ,they would probably call animal control. I hope you find him....
