Is anyone familiar with this theater? They have $5 Wednesday shows, I know...but does that also apply to new releases???

There is a theather on Main St. in Flushing that has Wacky Wednesdays..$5 movies (new releases) It's small though some on the rooms have about 50 chairs,
Cheap date night (since saving for the wedding) both of us for less than 30 bucks (including concession stand)

Yes!!! i actually went to Douglaston last night to see Transformers for $5!!...only thing...its an old theater...seats are not comfy...but the price and location is perfect for me.
i think these are the specials:
Mondays is Ladies Night $4.50 all day Tuesdays is Matinee price all day $6 Wed is Wacky wed $5 all day Thurs is Mens Night $4.50 all day for men
specials dont apply to the first week a movie opened.

went last night to see Public Enemies (good, but a bit too long and the ending was kind of bleh).....best part -- $5 tickets for NEW RELEASE!!!
worst part - i tried to eat chinese food in the car, and i spilled soup and burned my booty

no, thankfully i had extra clothes in the car, so i changed in the backseat.
BUT HOLY MOLY!!! my car is stinking like wontons now!!!!!
thank god FH took out the wetvac last night to try to clean my car seats (THEY ARE FABRIC, not leather, UGH).
but even this morning, its just awful!!!! i need to get the interior shampoo'd asap!
my booty is feelin sunburnt...boooo

yeah, it spilled a little and then it was sooo hot...that i was more concerned about not burning myself too bad...so i just let the whole thing drop so i could get up off the seat. lol. im such a klutz lately

Funny you mention Chinese food and Douglaston Movie Theater....about 2 weeks ago I went with my sister to see a $5 movie and the people who sat in the row in front of us were eating chinese chicken wings!!! in the movie theater!! we all smelled like chinese food that day!! LOL

I always go with FH on Sundays bc the movie is like $5-$6 before 5pm.
I dont think it is that bad, now the one on Flushing Main St, that is a GHETTO theater, which is the same owner
