I had to have an MRI with and without contrast today- I hate MRIs (too confining!) and I hate needles, specifically IVs even more!! Fortunately I didn't pass out or freak out, lol.
MRIs are SOOOOO loud....anyone know why??

Re: NWR: MRI
Never had one. They don't sound like much fun! Is everything okay?

Re: NWR: MRI
Fingers crossed all will be well! I have to wait to hear from my dr with the results. I have been suffering with migraines for years (since I was about 14) and they got really, really bad 2 years ago. They sent me for an MRI and I had a small, tiny tumor on my pituitary gland. Its not cancerous (thank God!) but has to be monitored, so they send me for an MRI w/wo contrast once a year as a follow up and to make sure there are no changes. So far, so good. Fingers crossed for the same news this year! :)

I will be hoping for you. Is there anything they can do to relieve the pain? Migraines are awful.

Oh Gosh Donna, I really hope you're doing ok. That stinks that you have to do that, I would have issues staying still through the procedure.
LIW prayers for you!

Re: NWR: MRI
Thanks ladies! I have faith that all will be totally fine. Its really just precautionary and to ensure that there are no changes. The neurosurgeon I had seen 2 years ago said this could stay exactly the same size and never change my whole life. It's just annoying as I had the IV and I hate the MRI, but once a year....I can live with it. (Notice I can say this TODAY after the MRI knowing I won't go again until next year, LOL) Thanks for your thoughts and well wishes :)
