I don't understand why every office I've ever worked at tries to turn us into popcicles. At the same time, Manhattan is experiencing a power shortage because we use so much AC!
Anyone else freezing at work???

Mine used to be like that too, apparently they say men needs it to be colder 'cus they metabolize faster... i think you should report the buildin't management co. for this. :D
I've seen lobbies/stores with their door wide open and frigid air coming out o fit. :P
They should all be fined.

Actually, yesterday I was at a client (Chaminade high school) and today I was at a different client (an airplane part manufacturer), and both places got called by LIPA to turn down their a/c and lower overall usage of electricity. They turned all the lights out (except for certain rooms) and the a/c went off at 1pm.
I thought it was good that at least someone is helping out with the shortage!!

I have a sweater on and a heater on under my desk!!!
I can't believe its 98 degrees outside and I have a heater on.

i wish i had seen this before - now i am home but today was SO COLD at work i had my sweater on as usual
we arent allowed to have space heaters anymore so that stinks
i think i am going to bring an afghan like the lady in the cubicle next to me!!

I wear pants and bring a jacket to work everyday... i work with all men and i think that pretty much says it all right there! it's freezing at all times... and blowing cold air. i go OUTSIDE just to defrost... it's ridiculous!!!

i agree my office is freezing ... 100 degrees outside and i have my heater on at my desk cuz it is sooooo cold in there ..... i love going outside for lunch feeling the heat

i go everywhere in the summer with a cardigan because at work, restaurants, offices .... it gets cold I never understood why the temperature can't be kept at a COMFORTABLE level
