NWR: Need another round of injections

So as some of you know I've had back problems from an injury at work. I had epidural shots done at the end of Jan. and have been feeling better. Well I was told to try to push and test out my back so I could return to work. The first couple of minutes I felt ok until they added the weight and then the sharp pain down the leg started happening again. The dr. checked it out and said I need another round of shots.

He's hoping this next round helps since the pain I felt wasn't as intense as it used to be. I'm just frustrated right now because it's really hard to plan a wedding when you're not working. FH is at work so I can't vent to him right now but I know he'll just say don't worry we have enough money to pay for the wedding but I want to be able to save some more. Argh I was just hoping to go in today and the dr. would say I could return atleast part time but now I just feel like this is just another set back. Thanks for letting me vent.

So sorry Yvonne. God really does work in mysterious ways and I know everything will be ok for you. I know it must be so frustrating. Thank goodness you have a FH who iss wonderful and totally understanding!

Hang in there and I hope at least the second round of injections will get you on your feet and back to work. I know I would be going crazy at home.

I'm sorry hun! Is there anything else you can try besides the shots? From my understanding, they are just a bandaid basically. chiropractor? PT? FH finished his and it didn't do much for him either. He's just avoiding back surgery for as long as possible

Thank you all for your support. It was disappointing to hear and I was really upset yesterday but cuddles from Trixie did help. Just gotta take things day by day.

workers comp won't cover chiropractor

and I've tried PT, TPI shots, and accupuncture but no help. The dr. said if these shots don't work then surgery is the next option which scares the crap out of me.

oh nooo!!! im soo sorry!! i know this sucks but if this will possibly prevent you from having surgery it is worth it cus with surgery you will probably be out for even longer and it will be even more pain :( im sorry hun i know ur probably so upset, call or text me if you need anything even to just vent!!
