Ladies, I'm a regular liw member, but changed my name because I'm pretty broken up about this... and a little ashamed (although, that might be the wrong word).
This new profile says that I'm still a bride-to-be, but I'm a newlywed. I've been married for less than a year, and I feel no passion for my new husband . Don't get me wrong, I'm not thinking in any way, shape, or form to be unfaithful. I'm in this marriage for the rest of my life.
I'm just scared that there is no 'fire' in our very new marriage. I don't know who to talk to or where to turn. I love the man I'm married to, I want to have a baby with him, and I want to spend the rest of my life with him. I just don't know how to rescue our 'private life'.
I don't know what I'm looking for in posting this, but I just had to let it out somehow.
Thank you for reading, a Sad New Wife

good luck... remember men dont like foreplay, just get right down to it.
Sorry, but that is not true at all!
Especially since her problem is in that department, they should take time and have tons of foreplay.........
Agree, we are not talking about just getting to it, we are talking about discovering each other and making him feel comfortable while still having her enjoy the experience fully. Yes, once day this might just work, but I'm afraid not yet.
Really, best of luck to you. I really felt your words were sincere and you almost had me with tears rolling dwon my cheeks. A very heartfelt to you.

A good sex life takes work after the 'honeymoon' phase is over. You have to be creative and change things up a bit. Everyone goes thru this, it's just a matter of figuring out how YOU and DH can make it better.

I sent you FM on this, but I second the Passion Party Idea! I do those parties. FM me if you want to find out more info about them. I hear about the same problem you are having all the time from the girls who attend my parties. It may help to reignite the passion in your marriage.

not to offend anyone but... good book: 'the proper care and feeding of husbands'
it's not as it sounds, it just opens your eyes to the things we forget to do or take for granted
I LOVE this book!! It's excellent!!

Yeah the book is really great. makes you think. You know woman are always wanting men to act a certain way to make them feel good, important, and wanted, but men want that too. It opens your eyes.
GOOD LUCK! hope it all works out!

My heart goes out to you. I think this loss of attraction is just an awkward stage. You just need to shut the world out and really concentrate on yourselves, your needs, your wants. TALK to each other, really talk and experiment. Instead of looking at this like a horrible time, it could be the beginning of something amazing for you both. Very best of luck to you!
